Summary

I am an independent broadband and wireless advisor with more than two decades of experience across network operations, strategy, product development, and market analysis.

My work focuses on broadband, wireless, and fixed–mobile convergence, with an emphasis on economics, competitive dynamics, and real-world execution.

Experience

Operating and Industry Leadership Experience

My experience includes senior operating and leadership roles across the broadband and wireless industry, spanning engineering, strategy, operations, and policy.

I have worked inside large broadband operators and industry organizations, including Charter Communications and the NCTA, where I served as Vice President of Broadband Technology. In these roles, I led engineering organizations, shaped technology roadmaps, and worked directly with executive leadership, regulators, and policymakers on broadband, wireless, and cybersecurity strategy.

Prior operating roles include CTO and Vice President–level leadership positions at venture-backed and public companies, with responsibility for product strategy, network technology, and global services. This work included scaling engineering and services organizations, launching new access technologies, and supporting major carrier deployments worldwide.

Technology, Strategy, and Policy Leadership

Across these roles, my work has focused on the intersection of network engineering, economics, and policy. I have led initiatives spanning DOCSIS, fiber, Wi-Fi, wireless access, policy control, cybersecurity, and broadband performance, and have represented the industry in technical standards bodies and regulatory forums.

This experience includes serving as a technical and strategic bridge between engineering teams, executive leadership, and public-sector stakeholders—translating complex technical issues into actionable strategy and policy positions.

Advisory, Vendor, and Global Engagement Experience

In addition to operating roles, I have worked extensively in advisory, vendor, and consulting capacities across global broadband and wireless markets. This includes direct engagement with Tier-1 carriers and operators in North America and internationally.

This work has encompassed network architecture evaluation, technology selection, product strategy, and diligence support, providing visibility across diverse market structures, regulatory environments, and deployment models.

Product, Innovation, and Entrepreneurial Experience

My background also includes co-founding and leading multiple technology startups focused on broadband policy control, quality of service, and network management. As CTO, I defined product architecture and technical strategy for early policy and charging-control platforms that helped shape modern broadband traffic management.

More recently, I have applied this engineering and product experience to independent innovation efforts, designing and commercializing connected hardware and software systems that integrate embedded devices, wireless connectivity, and mobile applications.
